This is what I was looking for. So where do I get it. Please.
Been using the shade cloth from bootstrap for the last couple seasons, haven't run into any issues and always had a great costumer service experience. 🙌
Thank you so much! Try to keep staying cool down in H Town 🌱
HOLY COW!!! I FINALLY FOUND SOMEONE WHO CAN EXPLAIN WHAT I SHOULD REMOVE! I've seen atleast 30 videos on removing suckers. Yup got it! I got it in 22 different languages. But KNOW ONE had ever gone beyond that!
😀 Appreciate that! Glad it was helpful!

To have beautiful relationships with the people who grow & raise our food & who care about their health. my health & the environment. That is very special.
Top tray of home dishwasher only?
Most likely. Some dishwashers may not be as hot as others, but it is the safe bet.
Can't wait to try that! What dishwasher detergent is best to use? thanks
Personal preference.
I am Left-handed Thank you !!!

Would white 50% work well if i was to install it around a 10x10 canopy walls to keep airflow but provide shade and keep it "cooler"?
I did the same thing and it works great plus cuts down on wind.
OK, I am confused. I understand that this is 6 Mil plastic panels that are just placed in the 4 corners of the side walls. Wind will not blow through this plastic. Are you saying that this is a way to prevent the wind from racking you hoop house? Does this strengthen the frame of the hoop house? This has to cut down on ventilation, right? I sound stupid here, but I honestly don't understand "WHY? I need this addition to my hoop house". I do get a lot of wind as I am surrounded by large farm fields. If this is not for strength, what advantage does it give me? Please advise. 😟
In the winter when your roll up sides are down a gap forms that cold can get in the hoop house or heat escapes. This helps to prevent wind getting in the gap.
Wish they weren’t 60 too 70 dollars
Understood. $60 once sure saves a lot of money overtime though.
Hi can I grow Batavia Lettuce in nft 100mm x 25mm ? Will the size and growth be affected ? Thanks in advance for reply
NFT is great for leafy greens. Size should be representative of what the label is expecting and should be at the same 40 to 55 day range. Most latices tend to be.
@@BootstrapFarmer thanks 🙏
What about the "standard" white netting? Does that also produce some shade effect -- even though that's not what it's made for? Thanks!
There’s so many different types of netting. There’s no way for us to give a great answer on that, but unless it’s for shade, I would not count on it as it would be designed for other purposes.
Question: Do you need to worry about disease to the vines along the ground if they are laying on soil and/or mulch rather than fabric/plastic? Thank much.
While disease is always possible, you can reduce the threats by not overcrowding, keeping leaves and fruits from the ground, properly venting, and unrestricted airflow. The watering is best done at ground level at the base of the plant and not overhead or shower wand-type watering. You would also not want to over water where pools of damp soil could attract insects or fungus growth.
I rarely review videos but this was so fantastic I had to leave a comment. Thank you (!!!) for the in depth walk through. This was new to me, but now I know how to tackle my vines. Thank you ;)
This made our day! Thank you💚
Great lil video
Thanks y'all, good info. Blessings
Thanks for watching!
Sources for custom produce packaging?
We recommend looking at takeout options from webstaurant, Amazon or food distributors. Try out what works best for you and get feedback from customers to dial in your options. Once you trial out that packaging, you can then try to source from the manufacturer direct if volume calls for it.
Have yall quit the podcasts entirely? ...
No, we’re just in the thick of filming a ton of stuff internally trying to get to the next round of interviews.
Hey tell Nick to please do a Asian geeen podcast! I tried to get Diego Footer to contact him about doing one but he might have been to busy.... Thanks@BootstrapFarmer
Did you put the gears in the correct spots? I thought the front was the other side? I'm only asking for clarity maybe i'm doing it wrong. thanks.
We did, the camera angle shows the sprockets going in with the front being the right side on the video.
@@BootstrapFarmer Thanks for responding. She mentions the 9 should be in the rear and 14 in the front. but it appears that the front (right side on the video) has the 9 gear. and the left side (back) has the 14 gear. Just wanted to share. I appreciate confirming the front side is right. =)
What is the kit# for the 30' overhead?
Here is where you can input your hoop house size: www.bootstrapfarmer.com/products/overhead-irrigation-kit?_pos=1&_sid=42bc9e3fe&_ss=r&variant=42278484672670
@@BootstrapFarmer Thanks, I just got my 30' delivered.
How about some research data like temp values at ground level under black vs white?
There’s a second follow up video coming out soon where we took light meter test at the ground with plants.
Does it manage to get every seed out of the hopper? Or are there a few seeds that stay stuck along the edges?
I’ve never had much of a jam with a Jang. Basically what you do is fill the hopper with more seed than you would need, and then the hopper easily comes off to put the seeds back in the original container .
Thank you!
You're welcome!
What would I need for a 30x72 with 6' side walls. Mostly vegetables will be grown. I live in central Louisiana
50% for sure. More veggies over flowers maybe consider black. Like I said in the video it’s much nicer working under black if we are splitting hairs.
@@BootstrapFarmer ok, so what is the temp diff between black and white?
How many fans would I need in a 30 x 96 high tunnel with roll up sides, louvers at both sides and 8 x 8 doors on both end walls? This video was super helpful! Thank you :)
Circulation fans: You could get by with 2 Placed directly in the middle with one fan blowing one way, and the other fan blowing the other way to create circular movement, but you would be better served with Four placed at 25% and 75% of the hoop house still facing opposite ways .
Wonderful info... much needed. Blessings ❤
Always glad to hear from you. Stall cool best you can. 💚 N-
I wasn't ready for 9:12
Looking pretty good🤠

Mind making a video on recycling said plastic at end of life? That as always for your vids
Working that one into the schedule. Thanks!
I'm in central Kansas. So the white should work as we get to 110 115 degree days. But as I understand the 6 mill blocks the lite down to 78 percent so with 30 percent shade cloth over that sun lite is down to 48 percent. Can I give you a call and get some advice, definitely shoping at you're business. .
Of course, Call 888-406-1982 and press extension 1 to talk to our tech team. Thanks!
ok dude that's really cool, but man... is this possible if I travel frequently and am not home for 4-5 days at a time? I'm trying this year. So far ok'ish with 2" as the smallest size block. My tomatoes in seed trays got root rot this year. lost 50%
I'm afraid you might find that the blocks will dry out after a few days. But that would be the case with almost any seed starting set up.
dude that's a huge soil block... is that like a 6" soil block?
The Hand-held Maxi 1 creates just one tall block, measuring 4" x 4" x 4" - a substantial size for larger seedlings while also providing maximum aeration. It is perfect for up-potting vine crops early in the season, from smaller soil blocks to planting larger tomatoes, cucumbers, and peppers after the last frost dates.
